One Small Step for Man

  1. Mōrena Ada! And Happy New Year! :)

I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas and you're enjoying your summer break. Congratulations on completing another activity! It's great to see that you've taken some time to work on the Summer Learning Journey activities over the Christmas period - well done! :)

I really like the way you've presented this activity, Ada. The background colour and images really make it stand out. I like how you've compared being on the moon to jumping on a trampoline - it provides the reader with a great visual. :)
Do you enjoy doing creative writing activities like this one?

Have a lovely day! I look forward to seeing more posts from you soon.

    Mā te wā,

    Mikey

  2. Hi Ada!

    How are you?

I was just thinking about all of the great Summer Learning Journey posts I've read over the last few weeks and I remembered your lovely poem so I thought I'd pop back and check it out again. :)

While I'm here, I just wanted to let you know that there's a little under a week and a half left of the Summer Learning Journey programme so there's plenty of time left for you to post a few more activities. You started off so strong, sharing some really wonderful posts but we've noticed you haven't been as active in the last few weeks. The rest of the Summer Learning Journey team and I would love to see more of your work so feel free to jump back online and have a go at some more activities - there's lots of fun ones to choose from! :)

Have a lovely afternoon, Ada. I hope to see more posts from you soon. :)

    Bye for now,

    Mikey

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
